Basepoint help FitzRoy Newhaven transform lives

FitzRoy are hugely grateful for the unwavering support of a grant-making charity in Newhaven, Basepoint who are run by The ACT Foundation. Every year they match fund, up to £10k, which provides invaluable support to the residents of FitzRoy in Newhaven.

This money is life changing for many of the people who face daily struggles with disabilities. Last year their generosity helped buy equipment for a much needed new room in which the people we support can now relax and socialise together. We are ever grateful and all enjoyed a fantastic celebration to thank them for this year’s cheque of £9750.

It’s an absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing charity. It’s clear to see how committed the staff team are to really making a difference to the lives of the residents, and it’s so rewarding to see how Basepoint’s match funding has helped to transform lives in FitzRoy Newhaven. The team and residents are always so welcoming and it’s just such a joy to support this worthwhile cause.

This money will transform the lives of the people we support in Newhaven. Denise, the Manager, is hoping to use it to update a bathroom making it accessible for everyone who lives there. Thank you to everyone at Basepoint for your dedication and generosity.
