FitzRoy are excited to announce that booking for our latest challenge is now live.
If you are a thrillseeker and relish a challenge, sign up today to take part in The FitzRoy Firewalk! We’ll be in Petersfield Town Square on 7 December, as this year we have teamed up with the Petersfield Christmas Festival for a night to remember!
You can go solo, or gather your friends, family or colleagues and sign up as a team. There will be no special effects, just you walking barefoot across 15 feet of burning wood embers while you fundraise for FitzRoy. But don’t worry, you will be in safe hands as Phoenix Firewalk will provide experienced instructors to guide you through your Firewalk challenge.
FitzRoy’s very own Toby, support worker at Petersfield’s On Track day service, took part in our last Firewalk Challenge.
He said: “It seemed like a fun and different challenge to do. You wouldn’t have me jumping out of an airplane, but I’ll give this a go.
Fundraising events like these help the people we support so much; I see a lot of people who come into the day service who may not have had the chance to go out and experience many things. We are able to provide them with experiences they may not otherwise be able to do.
Firewalkers must be 18 or over. Book now with your registration fee £25. We are asking every Firewalker to fundraise for at least £125.
The money you raise will go towards supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
