Our On Track day service in Hampshire have been granted £10,000 to create a state-of-the-art sensory room that provides a therapeutic and stimulating environment for our members.

The sensory room is filled with light, sound and colour. The equipment chosen for the room helps our members to relax and supports those who need a more energetic environment.

FitzRoy is an amazing charity and they do incredible work with people with learning and physical disabilities. This is exactly the sort of project the Supporting Communities Fund was launched to help.
Cllr Julie Butler, EHDC Deputy Leader Portfolio Holder for Welfare and Community Integration
The transformation to our sensory room has been phenomenal. It has opened up a new form of interaction which provides fun, educational and engaging sensory learning experiences for all. It’s been a place of tranquillity and relaxation for our members and the projector where the people we support can interact with the images, has been proved to be the favourite with the majority of those who use the sensory room. I am not only very proud of the room but mainly with the fact that the people who use the room get so much knowledge out of it, which makes it very special. I would like to say a huge thank you to all those that have made this possible.
