Dalvington and The Oaks – Malvern
Dalvington and The Oaks are two bungalows next door to each other. Both offer 24 hour residential care. Home to 13 people in total, we’re in a quiet residential area close to Malvern town centre. The enthusiastic staff team will support you to follow your interests and live the life you choose.
15 people between the ages of 23 and 65 years old live at Dalvington and the Oaks. They have a range of abilities and we support them to live their lives to the full. We love socialising both at home across the two bungalows, including in our amazing garden extension built especially for that purpose, or going out and about locally.
Our Commitment
We have a dedicated staff team who will support you to make your own choices and follow your own interests. We can also support you to access a variety of college courses and to use nearby facilities such as hydrotherapy pools, speech and language therapy and physiotherapy sessions. The staff team will help you to take an active part in your local community.
Location
We enjoy stunning views across the Malvern Hills. A long private driveway sets the bungalows back from the road, making it particularly quiet, secure and safe. Local bus services run regularly into Worcester and Great Malvern, and there is also a large retail park within walking distance which has a variety of shops and amenities. We have adapted vehicles for getting out and about, and visiting family and friends.
Facilities
Both bungalows have excellent facilities. The Oaks has a large kitchen, lounge area and two accessible bathrooms, one of which is fully adapted with an assistive bath and overhead tracking hoist. The second bathroom is a shower wet room.
Dalvington has a kitchen/diner, shared lounge area, a sensory room and a conservatory. It also has three bathrooms, two of which are adapted with assistive baths and an overhead tracking hoist. There is also a large shower wet room. The bungalows are located within a large outdoor area, with patio and garden. A separate annex offers space for sensory and music sessions.
Both houses have large rooms and very wide corridors for ease of access and movement for those requiring the use of a wheelchair.
