A day out made possible

A fantastic family member stepped up to help everyone at The Coppice, FitzRoy Registered Care in Manchester. Angela Slate, Service Manager, told us how a group trip to the beach was made possible.

Henrietta Carey who lives at The Coppice has a brother called Charles. Charles suggested a day out at the beach to the support staff and volunteered his time to help make it happen for the whole house.

If it wasn’t for Charles volunteering his time and giving us some additional support, we wouldn’t have been able to get everyone who lives at The Coppice out together. They had a lovely day at Cosby Beach near Southport having a delicious lunch while there.
