Celebrating our colleagues completing their Level 2 Certificate in Care

Published: January 9, 2026

We’re proud to be celebrating the fantastic achievements of our colleagues who have completed their Level 2 Certificate in Care.

This isn’t just about gaining a qualification – it’s about building their confidence, strengthening practice and continuing to improve the lives of everyone we support.

We began piloting the Level 2 Certificate in Care in April last year and the response has been fantastic. So far, 88 colleagues have signed up for the qualification.

Completing the Level 2 provides a strong foundation in care, helping colleagues build knowledge that is directly relevant to their day-to-day roles while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

What our colleagues are saying

Colleagues who have completed the qualification have shared overwhelmingly positive feedback about their experience:

  • Clear, well-structured learning – the course is easy to follow and fits alongside their day to day roles.
  • Directly relevant to practice – learning links clearly to real situations, making it easy for them to apply knowledge straight away.
  • Stronger focus on person-centred care – colleagues particularly valued developing their understanding of communication, dignity, rights-based approaches and inclusion.
  • Increased confidence – many colleagues said the qualification helped them feel more confident when supporting people.
  • A strong foundation for progression – the course provides a recognised qualification and a positive stepping stone towards further development, including Level 3.

The course is a great opportunity to build your knowledge, gain a recognised qualification, and develop skills that genuinely make a difference.
