Charity in Newhaven helps FitzRoy with generous donation
Basepoint Business Centres, a managed office space provider owned by a leading UK grant-making charity, The ACT Foundation, has built close links with FitzRoy Newhaven, recently donating £9,200 of match-funded money.
“This is a truly fantastic amount, and has gone a long way to transforming lives for the people who live in the FitzRoy Newhaven service. It will be used to buy new computer tables and IT equipment, some gym equipment and raised beds for the gardens. It will also help with the extension being built which will hugely improve the quality of life of people living there, giving them room for educational and learning activities and events, and much more space to relax and socialise. These things wouldn’t be possible without the magnificent efforts of the people at Basepoint, and their generosity and tenacity.â
Marianne Radcliffe, Director of Fundraising
“It is always a pleasure to donate money to such a worthy cause, and Basepoint are delighted to match fund FitzRoy’s recent fundraising events.â Deborah Espect, Centre Manager
