“Enormously humbling” says MP Harriet Baldwin

The team at FitzRoy in Malvern were delighted to welcome their local MP, Harriet Baldwin, just before Christmas. The MP toured with Deputy Lieutenant of Worcestershire, Andrew Grant, who is a FitzRoy Ambassador, and Anna Galliford our Chief Executive.

Harriet met the residents and support staff, and was hugely impressed by the excellent round-the-clock care provided.

It is enormously humbling to see the work carried out at FitzRoy and see the amazing, selfless work carried out by the staff throughout the year. One of the best parts of my job is to get the chance to visit places like FitzRoy and personally thank the staff who do an incredibly difficult job so well. I am grateful to Andrew and Anna for taking the time to brief me on some of the challenges they face as a local employer and have agreed to take the message back to Westminster that we must do all we can to support operations such as this.
