FitzRoy are winners at the Good Web Guide Awards 2017
FitzRoy have won a prestigious award for their website, beating stiff competition. Beth Vaughan, Marketing Manager, tells us more.
I was delighted to win the Charity award at the 2017 Good Web Guide Awards. This award means a lot, as not only were we up against big charities with much bigger budgets, we were recognised by industry experts and entrepreneurs. As a charity, we are guided by our values, and we are pleased that the passion we have for transforming lives for people with learning disabilities has come through so strongly on our website.
It is a constant challenge to ensure we reach the people who need us, and provide them with the best information available. Our website will continuously evolve and incorporate the many different ways we now have to communicate with lots of audiences. We exist to help people with disabilities. and this award is testament to how much they inspire us every day to the best we can on their behalf.
The judges tell us what they like about our website.
FitzRoy do a great job in a crowded and competitive charity sector. They present an easy way to find and locate services, they use video well and incorporate social well. What wins this category is their presentation of a clear user journey and good signposting on a site that encompasses numerous services and varied audiences – all with a strong, positive and optimistic tone of voice that runs throughout. the missiontm (headline sponsor)Â
