FitzRoy’s Thank You Week 2025
This September we held our annual Thank You Week, a time to celebrate the dedication, creativity and compassion of FitzRoy staff across the country.
Over the week we presented 15 awards, including:
- Living My Life Award
- Above and Beyond Award winners
- Chief Executive’s Team of the Year
Alongside our award winners, 175 members of staff were nominated by their colleagues who see them in action every day. Every nomination was a reminder of the extraordinary commitment our teams show.
Our Team of the Year award went to the Laurel Cottage staff in Derby for their resilience and person-centred approach in supporting Joseph and his family through a life-changing journey. Their story, shared in last week’s blog, is a powerful example of teamwork and belief in what is possible.
Our Chief Executive Angela shard a message with all staff:
I am so proud of each and every one of you. You are so brave, you are so innovative and strong. This is just to say a huge thank you to all of you, for everything.
Families also told us what a difference our staff make. One parent told us:
“I would like to send out a special thank you to Leo and all the staff who support our son in Coventry. We have every confidence in all of the staff and there is often a buzz around making it feel like a happy house.”
Thank You Week is more than an awards ceremony. It is a chance to pause, reflect and recognise the everyday acts of care, determination and kindness that make FitzRoy such a special place to work.
