Glorious Goodwood for Donec Mews Grayshott residents

Robert and Peter from Donec Mews in Grayshott had a grand day out at Goodwood. Karen Bond, Service Manager, told us about their brilliant day.

Robert has been at Donec Mews for about 18 months, and has been settling in well. He’s never had the opportunity to go to the races before, so he was very excited. The morning of their trip, Robert put on a brand new suit. He looked so handsome that some of us at Donec had tears in our eyes. He looked like a man about town and it was so lovely to see.

The two went off with their Support Worker for a cooked breakfast in the morning before the races. They then bet on a couple of horses and both won! After a few pints in the pub they returned home to tell everyone about their day with big smiles on their faces. A brilliant first for Robert, and I’m sure it won’t be his last trip to Goodwood!
