Love4Life members danced the night away
Love4Life, our friendship and dating service in Fareham, have a variety of exciting events every month for their members. This month saw Hayley Ostler, Love4Life Coordinator, teach a salsa class. Hayley revealed to us that she’s also a trained dance teacher!
We had just under 20 people booked in for the event. Some were couples that were dating and some came along to socialise and meet new people.
Part of Love4Life is about giving the members new experiences in a safe environment, so we started off the evening with a bit of Mexican food, which some of the members hadn’t tried before. While we were all trying the food we had Latin American music playing to get everyone in the mood to salsa!
I taught everyone some salsa moves in singles first, then some of the members got into couples and I taught them how to dance together. After we finished the salsa lesson, we put on some pop music and had a bit of a disco.
Everyone had a brilliant night and there were lots of fantastic moves! It was great to see all the members smiling and dancing the night away.
