Next stop Skegness!
Nottingham Support at Home and supported living services enjoy a fun-packed trip to Skegness.
More than 50 people we support in Nottingham enjoyed an unforgettable day in Skegness, playing bingo, going bowling, visiting the arcades and eating fish and chips at the beach.
The trip kicked off with a lively coach journey with a front of the bus versus the back of the bus sing-off.
Trips such as this offer the people we support a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, build their confidence, and enjoy new experiences, all while having a tremendous amount of fun.
The Nottingham group, made up of the people we support in their own homes and at our supported living services, go on regular trips together. They choose where they would like to go the most. They recently chose to go to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
These trips are kindly funded by donations from The Fifty Fund and Tea For Two. Both Trusts fund social engagement projects that promote inclusion throughout the Nottingham area.

A special thank you to the staff and managers who gave up their weekend off to come along. It was wonderful seeing everyone’s happy, smiling faces. It was a brilliant day and the sun even came out for us.
