Running the London Marathon to transform lives
We are extremely proud to announce our Virgin Money London Marathon runner for 2016. Louise Macmillan is a Senior Support Worker at FitzRoy’s Rural Skills project and is passionate about her role.
I’m taking on this huge challenge to raise money for a project very close to my heart. FitzRoy’s Rural Skills project in the hills around East Meon is where I work, and where we support a group of amazing local people with learning disabilities.
We help them to learn new skills around horticulture, crafts, woodworking and other rural arts. We are planning to build a brand new wooden classroom which will help us to keep dry and warm during the winter months, and also carry out more classroom sessions and new activities.
Please help me to support this project and make a difference to the lives of local people.
