Summer fun at FitzRoy Huw’s in Nottingham
Friends and family gathered at FitzRoy Huw’s in Nottingham on a glorious summer’s afternoon.
Staff and friends from supported living joined the party at FitzRoy Huw’s for afternoon tea, cakes, ice cream and other goodies. Everyone enjoyed all these delicious treats with a side order of summer sunshine in the beautiful Huw’s garden. Bev Pearson, FitzRoy’s Community Fundraising Coordinator, went along to join in with the fun.
The whole afternoon was fantastic. We held a raffle, guessed the number of sweets in the jar, and guessed the name of the dog. The dog was a giant stuffed toy that you definitely couldn’t miss! It will now take up residence at Huw’s as it was won by Alice who successfully guessed the name as Ursula.
Well done to Alice, and thanks to everyone who came along. Everyone had a brilliant afternoon and made it a day to remember.
The garden at FitzRoy Huw’s is an extremely special place. Read about it on page 16 of our 2014/15 Impact Report
