DSP Champion (Secondment) INTERNAL ONLY EAST MIDLANDS - FitzRoy

DSP Champion (Secondment) INTERNAL ONLY EAST MIDLANDS

Vacancy Expired

Salary: £28,925
Location: Nottingham
Expiry date: 15/11/2024

We are excited to have a secondment opportunity for our FitzRoy staff to join our digital transformation team to champion digital support planning across our Organisation.

We are looking to appoint a DSP champion covering primarily the East Midlands.

We believe DSMs and SSWs will have the confidence to take on such a role however if you feel there is a support worker at your service that you think might also be interested, please do share this with them and encourage them to apply.

The role is a secondment until March 31st 2025, the salary is £28, 952k and you will be fully trained in the system and in your role. You will be expected to travel around services within your region/s and work closely with the other DSP Champions. If you apply, when your secondment is complete, you will go back to your service as an expert Digital Support Planner, with new skills, expertise, and passion to share. That knowledge and experience could also open further opportunities to progress your career.

The purpose of the role is to champion Digital Support Planning in our services – we want to work together to support every service to use Digital Support Plans and scheduling, to create and maintain detailed support plans that meet the needs of the people we support, develop routines, define outcomes, and evidence all the support that our teams are providing. If necessary, you will help services get all their paper information into the DSPs, and look at any areas where they are struggling, either because of time and resource or because they aren’t confident in the system, and you will fill the gaps.

Getting DSPs right is vital for CQC, as well as for evidencing clear support pathways for every person we support.

This is an internal opportunity only, so please take a look at the job description and person spec and share with your colleagues. If you would like to apply, please do so through our FitzRoy website. You can also send a cover letter to emily.widgery@fitzroy.org
