FitzRoy Supported Living services in March provide care and support to three ladies living across two bungalows, as well as a young gentleman in his own bungalow. The people we support enjoy accessing their local community, spending time with family, and welcoming loved ones into their homes for BBQs and shared meals. The service is based in a welcoming residential area, close to local shops and a nearby park.

We are looking for kind, compassionate female Night Support Workers to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to people’s lives while working in a calm, person‑centred environment.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important role in helping the people we support feel safe, comfortable, and reassured throughout the night. Your presence and support help ensure consistency of care and peace of mind for the people we support.

To meet the needs of the service, you’ll need to have availability across all 7 nights of the week, including weekends. Rotas are planned in advance and managed fairly, with a focus on teamwork and continuity of care.

You will:

  • Provide personalised, person‑centred care and support
  • Promote dignity, independence, choice, and control
  • Support with personal care where required
  • Carry out night‑time checks and routine tasks
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Provide reassurance and emotional support as needed

This post is open to female applicants only, due to the personal care needs and privacy requirements of the people we support, in line with equality legislation.

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring, respectful, and compassionate approach
  • Availability to work nights across the week
  • Reliability and a calm, patient manner
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop

No previous social care experience is required — we provide full, paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role.

What We Offer

  • £13.00 per hour
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Weekend and overtime enhancement rates
  • 30 days annual leave, including Bank Holidays (increasing with service)
  • Free Health Cash Back Scheme for you and your family
  • (including dental, optical, chiropractor and more)
  • Employee Assistance Programme, including virtual GP access and legal advice
  • Blue Light Card – paid for by us
  • Paid DBS and Update Service
  • Loyalty awards and life assurance
  • Perkbox – shopping discounts, wellbeing perks, and more About FitzRoy
