FitzRoy is an NHS England approved provider of Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Tier 2, Part 2 for health and social care professionals.
We deliver the one day, face to face element of Tier 2 training, co delivered by experienced trainers and people with lived experience of learning disability and autism.

What is Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training?
The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism was developed to improve understanding of the needs of autistic people and people with a learning disability and help ensure they receive safe, compassionate and person centred care.
Regulated health and social care providers must ensure staff receive learning disability and autism training that is appropriate to their role. The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training is the government’s preferred and recommended training for health and social care staff.
There are two tiers. Tier 1 provides general awareness while Tier 2 is for people who provide, or may be required to provide, care and support to autistic people or people with a learning disability.
