Hours: 9-5 Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
We are looking to recruit a full time, confident Payroll Officer to join our busy payroll team who run a full in-house payroll for around 1,400 employees.
Joining the Finance Team, you will be part of the team processing and administering the payroll for all Fitzroy employees using our MHR iTrent system, ensuring timely and accurate payment of NI and PAYE. You will assist with the administration of pensions, respond to payroll queries and contribute to the maintenance and development of the system, as well as resolving any issues in collaboration with other departments.
We are keen to hear from highly numerate candidates with relevant experience of processing payroll for over 500 employees in a comparable organisation. The successful candidate will have existing knowledge of payroll issues, PAYE and NI rules as well as pensions (auto-enrolment and group schemes). We are keen to meet candidates with at least 3-5 years’ experience. A good level of IT literacy including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) is essential.
With excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to interpret financial information to others, the successful candidate must also have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
