We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to support three of our services in Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse, working with a total of 5 people we support with learning disabilities so flexibility and the ability to travel between locations is essential.

This is a rewarding and varied role where you will play a key part in leading shifts, supporting colleagues, and ensuring the people we support live happy, healthy and independent lives.


About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide high quality, person-centred support to people with learning disabilities across both services in Blofield Heath and Thorpe St Andrews
  • Lead shifts and support the wider team
  • Support with care planning and risk assessments
  • Administer medication where required
  • Promote independence, choice and inclusion
  • Build positive relationships with families and professionals
  • Travel between the two services as needed

About You

To be successful, you will:

  • Have previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities
  • Be confident supporting people with complex needs
  • Be reliable, organised and able to lead by example
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle to travel between Blofield Heath and Thorpe St Andrews (essential)
