We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to support three of our services in Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse, working with a total of 5 people we support with learning disabilities so flexibility and the ability to travel between locations is essential.
This is a rewarding and varied role where you will play a key part in leading shifts, supporting colleagues, and ensuring the people we support live happy, healthy and independent lives.
About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will:
- Provide high quality, person-centred support to people with learning disabilities across both services in Blofield Heath and Thorpe St Andrews
- Lead shifts and support the wider team
- Support with care planning and risk assessments
- Administer medication where required
- Promote independence, choice and inclusion
- Build positive relationships with families and professionals
- Travel between the two services as needed
About You
To be successful, you will:
- Have previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities
- Be confident supporting people with complex needs
- Be reliable, organised and able to lead by example
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle to travel between Blofield Heath and Thorpe St Andrews (essential)
