What does your loved one dream of?
If you could make one special thing possible for your loved one, what would it be?
Perhaps there’s somewhere they have always wanted to go. Someone they would love to meet. A hobby they’ve talked about trying, a particular experience they would treasure or something they have simply never had the opportunity to do.
As FitzRoy approaches our 65th anniversary, we want to help make more of those ambitions possible.
That’s why we’re launching FitzRoy’s 65 Dreams. Between now and the end of 2027, we want to help make at least 65 dreams come true for people we support.
It starts with what matters to the person
When we talk about dreams, we don’t necessarily mean once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
A dream is personal. It might be something big, but it could just as easily be something another person might take for granted.
What matters is that it is important to the person themselves.
We recently shared Carl’s story. Carl has loved André Rieu’s music since he was three years old and had always dreamed of seeing him perform live.
For a long time, a large, busy concert would have been impossible for Carl to attend. But over the past two years, his support team has worked with him to understand what he needs and help him become more confident in busy places.
This year, after more than 25 years of loving André Rieu’s music, Carl finally went to see him at Wembley.
Families know what matters
Families often know about hopes and ambitions that have been there for years.
You might remember something your loved one has talked about many times. There may be an interest you’ve watched grow, somewhere that holds particular meaning or something you’ve often wondered whether they could have the opportunity to experience.
We’d love you to talk about it with them and with their FitzRoy support team.
Tell us about their dream
If your loved one is supported by FitzRoy and has a dream they’d like us to know about, just complete this form and we will be in touch.
You don’t need to have worked out all the practicalities. Just tell us what matters to them, why it would be special and anything that might help us understand their ambition.
We can’t promise that we will be able to make every dream happen, but we’d love to hear their ideas.
Tell us about a dream
The first round of applications will be considered after 31 October 2026.
I can’t wait to hear what people dream of.
