Our inspirational staff have demonstrated their passion and dedication by continuing to put the needs of the people we support first during these unprecedented times. Now, we are looking for more people who share our values to join our workforce of heroes.

Our teams of support workers across the country need people to join them in continuing to provide an excellent level of support to those most vulnerable in society. Our recruitment process has now been fast-tracked, with interviews being held over video calls so new starters can begin their journey with FitzRoy as soon as possible.

HR and recruitment business partner, Claire Moore, said: “This is a brilliant opportunity for people to join a community that makes our nation proud while learning new skills. People who apply to work in the care sector at this time are truly heroes. They will be joining a workforce of incredible, dedicated support workers – it makes me so proud of the people we have working for FitzRoy.

“Just like with our usual recruitment process, we don’t require previous care experience, just people who share our values. We have support workers who have come from all backgrounds, such as banking, retail and construction –  we will give you all the training you need.”

“You can apply whether you want a long term career change, or if you have been furloughed from your current job you can work for us and get paid on top of still receiving your 80% salary from the government. You can stay on as a bank worker when you go back to your primary job and continue to work flexibly, around your primary role.”

There are plenty of perks to working at FitzRoy, from a free 24-hour helpline, discounts on shopping with Love My Perks, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, and much more.

“We need passionate people now more than ever – It’s a great time to really make a difference and do something for your local community.”

Danielle Styles, activities coordinator for FitzRoy’s day service On Track, said: “Staff have been absolutely brilliant since lockdown, they have taken it in their stride. You really do see people pulling together throughout this and it certainly makes me proud to work for FitzRoy. It also makes me realise how much the rest of my team makes my job so special – we’re like a family. Everybody is going above and beyond to help out the people we support.”
