Let us bring Christmas into your home
It’s less than a week to go now until our Virtual Carol Concert – join us for an evening of Christmas cheer where we’ll be bringing the people we support and staff together from across the country with songs, carols, cracker jokes and Christmas messages.
We thought there would be no better way to lift everybody’s spirits than to spend an evening with you, sharing some of our favourite Christmas songs and carols which have been performed by our staff, the people we support and friends of FitzRoy.
Community fundraising manager Jim said: “It’s been a challenging year for everyone, and throughout the whole coronavirus crisis our staff have been incredible. We really just wanted to take a moment out of what has been a difficult year for everyone, to bring the amazing FitzRoy family together to celebrate, and to bring joy and hope.
“Many of our staff and people we support from around the country dived early into the Christmas spirit and recorded their own takes on Christmas classics – with a few cheesy cracker jokes thrown in! Three Hampshire schools have interrupted hectic schedules to record songs and carols, and the choir from St Peters Church in Petersfield have performed ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ to really get everyone in to the festive spirit.
“It’s been truly amazing to see everyone pulling together for FitzRoy, and we hope everyone will enjoy a mince pie or two and dance and sing along to the festive concert we have put together.”
