A breakthrough holiday for John

With the support of our staff, John recently enjoyed an amazing four-night stay in Skegness. This was a huge milestone, as John had never spent a night away from home since moving in with us five years ago.

Lee celebrates taking his first steps in months

Lee developed a sudden anxiety about walking and moving. For six months, he was unable to leave the sofa except for essential tasks. Our dedicated team has been working hard to support him in regaining his confidence and independence.

FitzRoy’s first regional forum kicks off

Last week, the first of our new regional forums for people we support took place in Norfolk . 20 people we support came along with their support staff for the forum, where they had their voices heard, caught up with their friends, and had the chance to meet new people.

Gaining Sally’s trust transforms her health

Sally wouldn’t step outside the building or allow anyone in her flat for the first three years she was with us. But thanks to the dedication of two staff members, Sandra and Caroline, Sally has made tremendous strides, eventually stepping outside and letting them into her flat - a huge step for someone who had shut themselves off entirely.

Hannah’s inspiring transformation

38 year old Hannah has been living at our supported living service in Banbury, Oxfordshire since August last year. She was diagnosed with diabetes in 2021, and since moving in with us has made remarkable health improvements including losing nine stone. Her progress has been so significant that she may be able to come off her medication at her next diabetes check-up.

Boosting confidence and building connections

On Friday, July 26, services in our West Midlands region got together for a Dress to Impress Summer Ball, an event that brought together food, laughter, dancing, and friendships, both old and new.
