Christine takes on a marathon challenge
Christine, who works at Trafford Day and Community Services, ran the Liverpool Half Marathon for FitzRoy on Sunday 13th March.
Christine said: I’ve always enjoyed running and thought this event would be a really good challenge for me – I haven’t run a half marathon for a few years. I felt I could raise some funds for FitzRoy along the way, and that also made sure I didn’t back out at the last minute!â
The day service has recently gone through a major refurbishment and is looking fantastic. It was the ideal opportunity for Christine to raise money towards new equipment for the people she supports.
She completed the race in a fine 2 hours 18 minutes and raised an amazing £200 for FitzRoy.
