Love4Life to perform This Is Us!

FitzRoy’s Love4Life friendship and dating service is a hub for creativity, laughter and self-expression ingredients which have all been put into their summer show This Is Us.

Love4Life showcase two performances a year, and always prove to be an outstanding success. And this year looks to be no different, with This Is Us is set to take place at Fareham Community Church on 22 August, from 7-9pm.

Speaking about their preparation for the show, Love4Life’s events coordinator, Shelley Temperley, said: We put on the shows because our members love it they meet regularly for choir and drama groups, so these shows are an amazing opportunity to showcase their talents.

It’s amazing to see how much it also helps them grow in confidence we had one lady recently turn up to the choir group really nervous, but after seeing how involved everyone gets, she was performing a solo by the end of the session!

This is Us is a performance of a selection of songs our members have chosen, as well as some directed drama work. One of the songs we are performing is. This is Me’ from The Greatest Showman! We have been really excited to perform that one.

Our Love4Life members have been looking forward to showcasing their hard work and we can’t wait to welcome people on Thursday.
