Thanks to the support of FitzRoy’s Norfolk team, Johnny discovered a love for gardening that has completely transformed his life. 

With encouragement from his support worker Dana, Johnny turned an overgrown patch outside his flat into a thriving garden. Growing his own vegetables and cooking with them has given him pride, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. 

Spending time outdoors has boosted his wellbeing and connected him with new interests, like photography and learning about plants. He’s now more active, social, and excited about what’s possible, he even hopes to expand his garden with a raised bed next year.
