The Vacancy
FitzRoy Day Service in Fakenham supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Support Worker to join our friendly and dedicated team.
Our community-based Day Service offers a wide range of meaningful activities and opportunities both on-site and in the local area. Every day is different, and you will play an important role in helping the people we support build confidence, develop skills and enjoy life to the fullest.
Activities may include:
- Arts and crafts
- IT and computer sessions
- Cookery and life skills
- Music and photography groups
- Swimming and gym sessions
- Shopping and café visits
- Cinema and day trips
- Volunteering opportunities
- Supporting attendance at community events and local activities
No two days are the same, so you’ll need to be proactive, positive and able to think creatively. We are looking for someone who shares our values and can build positive relationships with the people we support, helping them achieve their goals and become more independent.
Vacancy Details
- 30-hour permanent contract
- £13.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm
- No weekend working
- A full manual UK driving licence is essential
- You must be willing to drive our accessible vehicles
