Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Head of Transformation your primary focus will be to ensure that all services use Digital Support Planning Tools (DSP) to successfully deliver person centred support planning.

Your role as an influencer of people, will be to drive proficient use of the tools throughout the organisation, ensuring excellent quality digital records of support. These will showcase the active support and evidence that FitzRoy is not only meeting its regulatory and contractual agreements but transforming the lives of the people we support.

Outline of Responsibilities and Duties

  • Proactively govern the use of the Support Planning tools across the whole organisation.
  • Complete regular audits for quality, compliance, and business performance in line with Fitzroys strategy and report on progress, recommending effective action plans for improvement where needed
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for Support Planning Tools Inc:
    • All aspects of system configuration.
    • All aspects of Active person centred led support
    • Guidance & training to evidence and how to work with Person-centred outcomes within the system.
    • Leading on how best to evidence quality of support within the systems.
    • Ensure training and support for the Support Planning tools are meeting the needs of the organisation.
    • Train those with higher level access and responsibilities in proficient use of using the Support Planning tools
    • Regularly hold sessions to increase the skills of Operations.
    • Influence services to evidence support using a quality driven approach way.
    • Be the lead face of FitzRoy Support Planning, building confidence and buy-in of the support planning tools and processes.
    • Line Management role including recruiting, developing and motivating staff members to deliver a quality service

Key Skills/Experience

  • Working knowledge of CQC regulations with regards to support planning.
  • Working knowledge of Internal Quality standards with regards to support planning
  • Ability to support teams to effectively structure daily records for a service based on individuals needs.
  • Ability to effectively lead and support line management team
  • Delivery of training sessions to services management teams.
  • Influencer of peers, approachable and knowledge about your subject matter.
  • Engage with a range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to effectively challenge the norm.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to multitask
