We are seeking an exceptional new support worker to join our friendly team– could this be you?

Ideally you will be required to be flexible regarding shifts and to be available to work weekends.

FitzRoy Support service in Birmingham provides complex care and in-depth support for adults with learning disabilities and autism, often with complicated needs including physical and mental impairments.

Vacancies available:

Salary: £13.00– £14.30 ph

  • Contract 30 hours per week
  • Transport links around the service on public transport are good
  • Flexibility is required – shifts typically 8am-2pm, 2pm – 9pm
  • Weekend working and nights also required
  • Sleep-ins are paid £45, 10pm – 8am,
  • Waking nights 10pm – 7am
  • For this role it is Desired that you have a full driving licence and vehicle, as you will be transporting service users to their desired interests

We believe our service users should be able and encouraged to achieve whatever they would like to do, and our support workers help them overcome challenges presented by their condition. You will be expected to carry out everyday tasks including support and encouragement with personal care and feeding as well as taking part in a range of community activities that make up a healthy, well balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
