Support Worker – Coventry
ApplyFitzRoy Supported Living provides care in Coventry for adults with learning disabilities and autism. We are seeking exceptional new Support Workers who share our values to join our friendly team – could this be you?
This service is a small bungalow located in Aldermans Green, you will be supporting one person that lives there who does occasionally present with some challenging behaviours.
These behaviours are very well controlled by the current staff team as they have worked with him for a number of years.
It is a small team and the person we support likes to be out in the community and enjoys days out every day so a driving licence is essential.
Vacancies available:
- Salary: £10.02 – £11.32 ph
- Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Part Time also available
- Shift patterns is for early/mids/nights (07.00-14.30/10.00-17.30 and waking nights 21.30-07.30)
- A driving licence essential
- Experience with challenging behaviour would be beneficial.
The people we support enjoy a variety of activities such as walking, going for drives, visiting gardens, or even going out for meals. You will be providing care and support individually tailored to the needs and wishes of people with learning disabilities. You will work together to identify and achieve their goals, enabling them to have choice and control over their lives. You will also be expected to carry out everyday tasks including personal care, taking part in a range of interests and activities that make up a healthy, well balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
