FitzRoy are launching a brand-new supported living service based in West Bridgford , Nottingham that will support three adult women with learning disabilities
This service will support three women with downs syndrome and will require support with learning disabilities. We are seeking exceptional new support workers to join our friendly team – could this be you?
As a Support Worker, you will be supporting them with their life skills, social skills and gaining confidence and independence as it is their first move from their parents homes. Like a range of activities such as – arts and crafts, cooking, baking, attending social groups such as brownies, guides, drama groups and sports groups, cinema, bowling, day trips to beaches and movie nights.
You will also be expected to carry out everyday tasks including prompting personal care, taking part in a range of interests and activities that make up a healthy, well balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
The service is due to open September 2023. All new applicants will undergo award winning training at our sister site in the West Bridgford area prior to the new opening. The role is to start as soon as possible

- Salary: £11.00 – £12.10 ph
- Full time 37.5 hours
- Part time also available
- Day shifts 7-3, 3-22.00 + sleep-in
- Sleep-in – one per week
- Currently offering +£2.50 for overtime shifts*.
- Time and a half or double time for public holidays.
- 30 days holiday when you start.
- Shift Patterns to include earlies and lates
- Alternate Weekends & Sleep In’s required
