During the pandemic, our friendship and dating project Love4Life has continued their vital work offering a lifeline of communication to their members in what would otherwise be a very lonely time. And, thanks to the hard work of our Love4Life team, members like Thomas have continued to benefit and develop new skills – even from their online events.
During the pandemic, our staff have been our driving force, allowing us to keep moving forward and keep making sure the people we support are safe as we battle coronavirus, even during the most challenging times.
This week is National Apprenticeship Week, and to celebrate we spoke to Alfie about his experience starting an apprenticeship at FitzRoy during a global pandemic.
Our incredible staff at our service in Suffolk moved into the service over Christmas and New Year to protect the people we support when we had a coronavirus outbreak.
Following government and NHS guidance, identifying risks and outbreaks and developing a response to keep everyone safe is part of our day to day work now at FitzRoy as we face the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and do everything we can to keep the people we support and our staff safe.
The people we support at Linden Cottage woke up to a festive surprise last week when they found their conservatory had been transformed into a forest overnight.
It’s less than a week to go now until our Virtual Carol Concert – join us for an evening of Christmas cheer where we’ll be bringing the people we support and staff together from across the country with songs, carols, cracker jokes and Christmas messages.
Thanks to our incredible services and our generous supporters, Team FitzRoy has been around the world in 80 days, and raised £10,500!
