Salary: £30,926 per annum

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to support three of our services across Castle Vale, Birmingham (two services) and Atherstone.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in leading high-quality, person-centred support.

What you’ll be doing

Working alongside the Service Manager, you will help lead and develop teams across all three services, ensuring the people we support receive outstanding care and support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day management of the services
• Leading, motivating and developing support teams
• Promoting a positive culture focused on person-centred support and outcomes
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and retention of staff
• Conducting supervisions, appraisals and performance management activities
• Ensuring compliance with CQC standards, internal policies and safeguarding requirements
• Supporting audits, medication management and quality assurance processes
• Managing rotas and staffing levels to ensure safe and effective service delivery
• Building positive relationships with families, professionals and external stakeholders
• Acting as a role model and providing hands-on support when required

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience leading or supervising teams within health and social care
• Have a strong understanding of person-centred support and positive outcomes
• Be passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and autism
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be confident managing priorities across multiple services
• Have a flexible approach and be willing to travel between services
• Hold, or be willing to work towards, a Level 3 or Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification
